Who it's for
- Adults with dull, rough-looking or uneven-looking skin who want a gentle polish.
- People dealing with surface buildup who prefer mechanical exfoliation over a fluid-based facial.
- Anyone who wants a non-invasive facial with usually minimal recovery.
Areas we treat
- Full face
- Neck and décolleté on request
How it works
A diamond-tipped handpiece or fine crystals provide controlled mechanical exfoliation across the skin, while suction collects loosened debris. Intensity is adjusted to your skin assessment on the day.
Sessions
Book a single session as a refresh, or choose the 3-session package for ongoing care. Your provider will recommend suitable spacing based on your skin's response and goals.
Session length
60 minutes. This is the full facial appointment, including consultation, preparation and finishing care, not 60 minutes of continuous exfoliation.
Downtime and comfort
Usually minimal. Temporary pinkness, dryness, tightness or sensitivity can occur, and visible redness can last a day or two.
How to prepare

- Use a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher daily.
- Avoid heat, intense workouts, saunas and hot showers for 24 to 48 hours.

Who shouldn't book (contraindications and assessment)
- If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or managing a medical condition, please let us know so we can review with you.
- Please disclose any active skin concerns in the treatment area (infections, cold sores, open wounds, fresh tan or sunburn).
- Share any current medications, supplements or recent skincare actives so we can plan the session together.
- Suitability, treatment settings and your personalized plan are confirmed during your complimentary in-clinic consultation.

Frequently asked questions
What does microdermabrasion do?
It gently removes surface dead skin and buildup, polishing the outermost layer so skin looks smoother and brighter.
Does it hurt?
You may feel a light scratching or suction sensation. Intensity is adjusted to your skin's suitability and your comfort.
Is there downtime?
Recovery is usually minimal. Temporary redness or sensitivity can occur, and visible redness can last a day or two.
How many sessions will I need?
It varies by skin and goals. Three sessions are available as a package option, not a guaranteed required number.
Can it remove acne scars?
Microdermabrasion works superficially. Deeper or depressed scars generally need a different approach, which we can review at your consultation.
How is it different from Hydrodermabrasion?
Microdermabrasion is mechanical exfoliation with a diamond tip or crystals, while Hydrodermabrasion is a fluid-assisted, hydration-focused treatment that pairs exfoliation and suction with water-based solutions.
What does it cost?
$150 CAD for one 60-minute appointment, or $405 CAD for three sessions, saving $45.
